Flagstar has selected First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO ® ) to provide a new credit card program and service existing cardholders. We will be working closely together to provide a smooth transition to FNBO. This web page will provide a resource for frequently asked questions and updated information as we complete this change.

What is happening to my Flagstar credit card account?

As of June 16, 2024, FNBO will begin managing accounts for Flagstar credit card customers. Your account will now be an FNBO Flagstar Visa card.

Will I have a new account number?

Yes, your account number, expiration date and 3-digit security code will change. Your new card will arrive in June and be ready to use at 12 p.m. CT on June 16, 2024. Please note that any authorized users will have the same account number as the primary cardholder.

Will there be an annual fee for my Flagstar Visa card?

No, there is no annual fee.

Does my minimum payment amount, payment information and due date change?

Yes. Payments as of June 16, 2024 and after should be made to FNBO on our website, mobile app, by mail or by phone. Note that your minimum payment amount due may change. Updated payment information will be included with your new card in June. Statements will be mailed from FNBO after June 16, 2024 and will include your new payment date.

Why am I receiving a new card?

Flagstar has selected a new credit card provider as part of an ongoing effort to offer cardholders more value and benefits. Together, Flagstar and FNBO will work to make the transition to your new card easy and seamless.

When will my new card arrive?

Your new card will arrive in June. Please watch your mail for a plain white envelope that will contain your card.

How do I activate my new card?

When you receive your new card, activate it right away by calling the phone number included with your new card. Begin using your new card after 12 p.m. CT June 16, 2024.

What if I have automatic payments set up to pay my current Flagstar credit card account?

You will not be automatically enrolled in automatic payments (AutoPay) for your new Flagstar Visa account. Please update your new account information with your financial institution, or log into your new online account at card.fnbo.com after June 16, 2024 and set up AutoPay. Please be advised that it will take one full billing cycle for AutoPay to begin. Be sure to pay your bill as a one-time payment until your AutoPay is active.

What if I have recurring payments charging to my Flagstar credit card account?

Please be sure to update your new Flagstar Visa account number, expiration date and 3-digit security code on any recurring payments such as utilities, streaming services, online shopping, etc. that you have billed to your current Flagstar credit card for payments made after June 16, 2024.

If applicable, does my reward point balance transfer to my new Flagstar Visa account?

Any unredeemed reward points at the time of conversion will be transferred to your FNBO Flagstar Visa account. Any accumulated but not yet awarded points will be reflected on your first statement from FNBO received after 6/16/24.

Will I have access to my credit card statements?

You will have access to your current credit card statements through your current online account until June 13, 2024. Please download and save any statements needed before this date. After June 16, 2024 you will default to receiving paper statements from FNBO, however it is fast and easy to sign up for paperless statements online at card.fnbo.com. Paperless statements are secure and easy to access 24/7.

How do I access my new credit card account information?

As of June 16, 2024 you can access your new Flagstar Visa account information and future statements by enrolling in our online credit card account management at card.fnbo.com.

Will my credit limit change?

Your credit and cash limit will be listed on the documents that arrive with your new card. The cash limit is a percentage of your total credit limit. Please update your income information when you activate your card to help us evaluate your account for future credit needs, including potential credit line increases.

Is there anything I need to do right now?

Please go into your current online account and be sure your information such as email address, phone number and mailing address are current no later than June 13, 2024. More information will be coming in the next few weeks. Please keep using your current Flagstar credit card for your purchases until 12 p.m. CT on June 16, 2024.

Will my digital services change such as my mobile app or account web access?

Yes, you will be able to access your Flagstar credit card account information as of 12 p.m. CT June 16, 2024 both online at card.fnbo.com and through the Card by FNBO app (available in the Apple and Google Play stores).

Can I limit sharing of my personal information?

Yes, you will be able to choose to opt out of information sharing once the conversion is complete on June 16, 2024 at 12 pm CT. However, this option is not available until we have your account information in our system beginning on June 16, 2024 at 12 pm CT. As of that date you can call the number on the back of your card or included on our privacy notice and we will be able to accept your opt out for sharing information.

As of Noon 12 p.m. (CT) on June 16, 2024, FNBO will begin managing accounts for Flagstar credit card customers. Although your account is closed, your payments will be made to FNBO after this date.

How do I access my account information?

You will begin receiving statements from FNBO after June 16, 2024.

Does my payment information and due date change?

Yes. Payments as of June 16, 2024 and after should be made to FNBO. Note that your minimum payment amount due may change. Statements will be mailed from FNBO after June 16, 2024 and will include your new payment date and payment information.

What if I have automatic payments set up for my account?

Please reach out to your financial institution and change your account number and payee information once you receive your first statement.

Will I have access to my credit card statements?

You may have access to your current credit card statements online through your current account until June 13, 2024. Please download and save any statements needed before this date. After June 16, 2024 you will receive paper statements from FNBO.

Is there anything I need to do right now?

No, you will begin to receive statements from FNBO after June 16, 2024. Please keep making payments to your current account issuer through June 16, 2024.
